Travelwise travelprize

Every Thursday morning Holy Cross Travelwise ambassadors are writing down names of students who walk 400m or more to school.  These names are then put into a raffle and three names are drawn at assembly on Fridays, and those lucky students win a prize!  

Thanks to all those who are taking part already, we look forward to seeing more walkers through term 3.  Don't forget parents - if you usually drive your children to school, you can drop them off safely in James Laurie street or Newington road so they can walk the required distance to get in the draw.

Last Tuesday our class celebrated Mass with Father Paul and our families. Our theme was 'Jesus, My Friend'. Mrs Stanisich was so proud of us all - we all sang and spoke our very best. Thank you to everyone who attended this special time with us.

Kingston's big night!

Kingston was so lucky to escort the All Whites onto the field at Mt Smart Stadium two weeks ago when they played South Africa. We all enjoyed listening to his news!

Class Mass

We would appreciate it if your child could bring a non-perishable food item tomorrow for the St Vincent de Paul Society. Our Mass will commence at 10am in Room 4

ROOM 4 CLASS MASS

Next Tuesday the 10th of June is our Class Mass at 10am in Room 4. We would love to see you there. Our theme is 'Jesus - My Friend'.

Room 4's SCIENCE EXPERIMENT

We had so much fun today testing objects to see which ones sank and which ones floated. First we used our predicting skills and then the leader of each group recorded our results. Each afternoon we are going into a different classroom to do more experiments!

We are very lucky to have Mr Sutherland teaching us for two weeks. Mr Sutherland comes from AUT University.
